LADIES AUXILIARY to the VETERANS of FOREIGN WARS of the UNITED STATES
The Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post 3928 meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7 PM. We meet in the Harrison room at the Benicia Veterans Building 1150 First Street.

Preamble
We, mothers, stepmothers, wives, widows, sisters, stepsisters, and half sisters, daughters, foster and stepdaughters, grandmothers, granddaughters, foster mothers and sisters, who were in the status of foster mother or sister before the service was rendered, who are citizens of the United States of America, not less than (16) years of age, of deceased or honorably discharged Officers or enlisted persons who are citizens of the United States of America and have served in the Armed Forces of the United States of America, whose service entitles them to membership in the VFW as specified by the laws governing eligibility in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, and who are in possession of or entitled to an honorable discharges under authority of a Charter duly granted by the National Convention of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United Statures, do unite to establish a permeate organization.
Authorization
“Be It Known That, Pursuant to the Charter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, and under authority of the National Convention, we hereby establish an association to be known as the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Such association shall consist of a National organization to be known as the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Subordinate organizations to be known as the Ladies Auxiliary to such Posts of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the UNITED States shall approve the same. Said association shall be subject to the authority o0f the National Convention of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States and under the jurisdiction and supervision of the Commander-in-chief and the National Council of Administration.
Objects
The objects of the organization shall be fraternal, patriotic, historical, charitable, and educational; to assist Posts and members thereof of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, and its own members whenever possible; to maintain true allegiance to the Government of the United States, and fidelity to its Constitution and laws; to foster true patriotism; to maintain and extend the institution of American freedom and equal rights and justice to all men and women; and to preserve and defend the United States from all enemies whomsoever.
